Emom: Can't Buy Me Love? Social Standing, Wealth And The Distribution Of Intimacy.

Thu Oct 26 8 PM until 10:30 PM , 399 Webster St.

Organized by Lou Viquerat de Kerhuelvez

How much do social standing and wealth affect the culture and availability of love?

From dating culture to marriage contracts, money is tied to our love traditions. As society shifts into Late Capitalism, so do our practices for establishing family and romance. This talk is an exploration of the relationship between love and money, whether it is causal or correlative, and how new structures of love may change our notion of wealth.

Talk starts at 8:30 sharp.
Feel free to bring wine, snacks, anything you'd like.
This event is free.
