About Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a coliving house in Berkeley California that exists to promote empowerment and open collaboration. As the latest addition to the global Embassy Network, it is home to both permanent and passing residents, and is host to delightful dinner parties, wondrous workshops and ecstatic events
Our historic 16-bedroom Victorian was once the lone structure on a sprawling farm, and the neighborhood has since filled in around it. The house is being completely renovated specifically for shared living. The ground floor has very tall ceilings, newly refinished original hardwood floors, an elegant front room living / dining space that opens into huge kitchen with two sets of appliances. A cozy den off the breakfast room opens out to a back porch overlooking a big back yard ringed by fruit trees - plenty of space for relaxing, playing and gardening!
The Embassy Network
The Farmhouse is a proud member of the Embassy Network, a global network of collaborative, creative community spaces. Each house has short- and long-term accommodations, as well as event and community spaces. Houses are operated by their residents with an emphasis on facilitating organic interactions and creative collaborations.
