Guest Payment:

Haiti Communitere’s guest payment policy is as follows:

Cancellation Policy:
The deposit is non-refundable.

If you cancel:


No-shows will be charged 100% of the price of the room.

This policy includes changes to the number of people per reservation. It is the client’s responsibility to contact HC if they are unable to keep their reservation.

There are no refunds issued after check-in.

What if I don’t know how long I will stay? No problem! Many of our guests don’t make their travel plans in advance. You only need to make a reservation for the first day of your arrival. Once you are here and can check us out, you can pay those additional nights when you check in.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive a day late without informing HC, we will try and find you a bed, but this may not be in the same room type booked and may incur extra charges.

Documents to provide on check-in: A valid, government-issued ID must be presented at check-in.

Regulations:

The most important rule is that HC is a co-living environment, so you must respect the rights of other guests.

Visitors: If you plan to have visitors during your stay, please register them with management, upon your arrival or during your stay. If you are staying in a private room, overnight guests are charged at $20 per night. Dorms are for the use of HC guests only.

Smoking: All HC rooms and common areas are non-smoking. Smoking in the yard is permitted, but please be considerate of other guests. If a guest is found to be smoking within the facility, a $50 fee will be applied to their credit card.

Damage: Any significant damage to the structure of content by guests may incur additional charges to their credit card.

Liability: Haiti Communitere is not liable for any delay, loss, injury, death or accident occasioned directly or indirectly with a guest’s stay. Haiti Communitere is not responsible for any expense caused by the loss or damage of any personal article or baggage, the late arrival s of any transportation, or any schedule or delay.

Internet: Haiti Communitere provides 24 hour wifi. HC does its best to provide good internet service at all times. However, occasionally there are service interruptions that are beyond our control. In this regard, HC is not responsible for the inability to use or transmit documents.
