Join Bloom Bay Area in exploring different facets of regenerative culture. Maya Zuckerman will share her sci-fi storyworld for Em's Theory, a forthcoming comic book and film about different possible futures, and how we choose among them. Rucha Chitnis will show recent highlights from her photojournalist work reporting on regenerative agriculture and how women are taking the forefront on community well-being across the world.

Speaker Bios:

Maya Zuckerman is Founder of TransmediaSF – an event and media agency, Expert-In-Residence for BRaVe Ventures, and marketing manager of Keyframe-Entertainment – a Transformational Media Network that bridges Underground Electronic Music and mainstream culture. She is also developing the Science Fiction franchise Em’s Theory. Maya is an emerging media and technology aficionado. She brings a wealth of experience from different media silos: visual effects, film, production, video games, tech startups, product management, and brand narratives. Rucha Chitnis is a San Francisco-based photojournalist and writer, whose stories highlight the power, dignity and counter narratives of women and grassroots movements. Her photo essays explore how women of color, indigenous peoples and farmers are reclaiming their stories, debunking the dominant narrative and shaping their future and destiny by promoting women's and indigenous rights, racial justice and people-centered resiliency efforts.
